This site is run by YUB VOF, trading as House of YUB, of Torenlaan 5A, 1402 AT Bussum, Netherlands, registered with the Kamer van Koophandel under 94668779. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Write to info@houseofyub.com with any question about it.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, your email address, the subject you selected, the city you gave if you gave one, and your message. Nothing else. There is no shop on this site, so we take no payment details and hold no order history.
Why we hold it
To answer you. That is the whole purpose. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, and our legitimate interest in replying to someone who has written to us.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you have separately asked us to, and we do not sell them or pass them to anyone for their own purposes.
Who else sees it
The form is delivered by Netlify, which hosts this site and stores the submissions so we can read them. Netlify processes the data on our instructions. Our email is handled by our mail provider. That is the full list.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for two years from your last contact with us, then deleted. If the enquiry becomes a sale, we keep what Dutch tax law requires us to keep, which is seven years for the records of the transaction itself.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, object to our using it, or ask for it in a portable form. You may withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@houseofyub.com and we will answer within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Cookies and tracking
We set no cookies of our own. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, and no tracking of you across other sites.
Two third parties are involved, both only in service of the site working:
Google reCAPTCHA. The enquiry form carries a checkbox confirming you are a person, which stops automated abuse. It is provided by Google, and using it means Google receives your IP address and information about how you interact with the page, and may set cookies in your browser. Google describes this in its own Privacy Policy. The check only loads on pages that carry the enquiry form. If you would rather not use it, write to us at info@houseofyub.com instead and no check is involved.
Google Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google, so your browser contacts a Google server and Google receives your IP address in order to send the font files. No cookie is set by this.
If we add analytics later, this page will say so before it happens.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
